Anthropology research

In the library of the Learning Commons, go to the GN section for in-depth books about anthropology. The section is divided further:

  • GN 281: Human evolution
  • GN 301: Cultural anthropology
  • GN 502: Psychological Anthropology
  • GN 700: Prehistoric archaeology

For more current research, browse WCC’s anthropology journals, including

  • Anthropology News, which is the American Anthropological Association’s monthly publication. It is easy to read, links out to a variety of sources, and covers engaging topics like ChatGPT, Roman curses, the racist history of “Voodoo,” and more.

OneSearch is also a good place to look for peer-reviewed articles on language and anthropology and anthropology and religion.
