Books @ the Library

QA The library contains both print and online books students may find useful in understanding mathematical concepts and history.   Print books can be found in the QA section of the shelves and include many older algebra and calculus textbooks.

The Library also has recent issues of Math Horizons to browse.  From the Mathematical Society of America this magazine is for practitioners, students, educators, and enthusiasts of mathematics, dedicated to exploring the folklore, characters, and current happenings in mathematical culture.

 WCC’s Online Math Center maintains a comprehensive collection of web links related to learning math.

 Wolfram|Alpha is a search tool that can be used to do advanced math. See their Mathematics examples for ideas on how to use the tool.

Khan Academy Fantastic tool to learn math. Khan offers practice exercises, instructional videos, and more.
